Total Rewards Manager Europe

Position overview:

This role has compensation and benefits responsibility for the Export & License division of MCE, which is a multiple country cluster, with key strategic growth plans, and small craft breweries. It acts as the key interface with HR team in this cluster, ensures compliance with global Rewards standards and supports the implementation of change.

The role also acts as a single point of contact for mobility support in Europe and coordinates project activities on European level including policy development and new process implementation.

Key responsibilities:

• Is responsible for the design, implementation and administration of compensation programmes for selected Western European and Eastern European countries. Study compensation and benefit market practices and trends, provide updates and recommendations to remain competitive. Assess survey needs, suitability and availability. Work with the HR Operations team to ensure local compliance with compensation and benefits legal requirements.
• Oversee day to day management of compensation and benefit programmes in Export & License cluster ensuring compliance with Global Rewards standards and requirements. Provide expertise and support implementation of change. Core rewards responsibilities include cash compensation, benefits, recognition programs, job levelling and pricing, survey participation and assessing the survey needs.
• Partner with HR team in the assigned cluster to ensure that appropriate communication, consultation and training is in place to support effective management and training of Rewards processes.
• Act as a single point of contact for international mobility support in Europe. Work with relocation and tax providers on initiation and costing of the moves, liase with HR Operations teams to secure the immigration compliance, support talent team with job offer preparation. Keep mobility policy and tools updated, stay close to the external trends, provides updates and recommendations to remain competitive
• Provide comprehensive support to Rewards team projects, coordinate project activities on European level including policy development and new process implementation. Manage and administer cross-country benefit programs. Keep MCE benefit brochure updated, track changes in local benefit offerings to identify cross-country alignment opportunities within Europe.


• Education: University degree
• Good track record of implementing and governing core rewards processes, e.g. Annual Compensation Planning, bonus plans, job evaluation, job pricing, flexible benefits.
• Experience in contributing to design of rewards policies, procedures and processes
• Experienced and skilled at working with Senior HR & business leaders on rewards matters.
• Experience with project and change management
• Good relationship building and influencing skills.
• Good problem solving skills
• Advanced level English (Written & Spoken)
• Demonstrable passion for delivering excellence and continuous improvement.
