Demand Planner

Demand Planner role is having significant impact on the local business. Key objective and scope are to develop effective predictive analytics models based on industry trends and demand patterns to ensure our business operations are timely, efficient and cost-effective.

What are the key areas of responsibilities of demand planner?

  • Owns end-to-end process for embedding predictive analytics models to business practice in compliance with respective requirements on different forecasting types. Is a key player and contributor in enriching the baseline statistical forecast and its transformation into formal demand plan as part of local business planning processes. Elaborates further analysis in support of her/his recommendations/explanations of proposed predictive models
  • Is a pivotal communication point between Marketing, Sales, Customer Excellence and the entire Supply Planning team making sure relevant information is shared on time in support of various commercial events, promotions, pricing and other sales activities. Works along Innovations and Brands team on the new products launches and supports them in developing new product forecasts and ramp up scenarios
  • Works with Customer Service team to ensure latest customer inputs are reflected into the demand plan. Tracks performance and communicates deviations from plan to respective stakeholders in the local business planning processes.
  • Drives culture of continuous improvement by reviewing and implementing best practice forecasting and demand planning processes.

What do you need in order to be successful in this position?

  • University Degree - Statistics, Mathematics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Technical fields, Economics/Business;
  • Up to 3 years of proven experience in a demand planning/forecasting position in supply chain or production
  • Strong attitude of adhering to standards, influence people and problem-solving;
  • Confident user in MS Office 365, focusing on Excel (Power Pivot/Power Query)
  • Relevant experience with any forecasting and demand planning system or platform;
  • Fluent in English and Czech
  • Persuasive and influential communicator with ability to effectively interact and drive the change in a cross-functional environment with all levels of management;
