Manages country Legal & CA activities and operations per business and functional plans in order to ensure legal compliance and implementation of country CA agenda. Provides high quality business legal counselling and covers Corporate Affairs issues / topics including GR (Government Relations), CR (Corporate Responsibility), PR (Public Relations) and ER (Employment Relations). Reports to and supports Country LCA Team Leader.
WHAT WILL BE YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES?
Provides full and quality day-to-day legal advice and support in all company operations
Manages contractual agenda, including legal documents drafting
Ensures compiance with local regulatory framework and EU laws and regulations to the extend applicable for the company
Monitors and follows-up any changes in legislation, assessment of possible impact on company´s activities
Provides legal advice and other kind of legal support and follow-up on issues in company´s interest
Engages and oversees outside counsel, government relations and advises on all regulatory matters
Supports, coordinates, develops and manages corporate affairs agenda of company
Prepares and end ensures completion of yearly CA plans per the respective areas
Supports and maintains relations with external shareholders, public authorities, regulators, industry associations etc.
Supports and enhances company´s good reputation and industry development
Is a member and a legal advisor in the Country Crisis Management Team
Coordinates and manages all company issues related to ethics and compliance
WHAT SKILLS AND RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE SHOULD YOU HAVE?
Master’s degree in Law
Excellent communication skills
Excellent Czech and English language skills including legal terminology
Professional experience as an In house Lawyer or in Corporate and Civil Law of at least 5 years, preferably with large international operating company
Excellent knowledge of: Commercial and Civil Law, Labor Law, Contracts, Competition Law, Administrative Law, Data Protection Law, IP Law; knowledge of food legislation is an advantage
Up-to-date knowledge about different legal requirements concerning all aspects of company's legal requirements
Experience in Corporate affairs and Corporate responsibility agenda and/or external communication is an advantage
Critical and strategical thinking, open mind, leadership and communication skills
